West Way Nissan rewards its employee’s dedication, commitment and enthusiasm, by laying the foundations for career growth through support and nurturing from management. West Way believe investing in talent is key to operating a successful firm and building careers for all employees.
As with all investments it takes some time before dividends are paid, but the wait is almost certainly worth the reward. A prime example of this is Alex Pilling, who is West Way’s newest Sales controller rising through the ranks from a Sales Apprentice.
Darren Wilkinson – The General Manager at West Way Manchester – said ‘It was with no hesitation I put Alex forward for promotion. He is a team player, dedicated, switched-on and has a work ethic suited for the busy and dynamic environment which is the automotive trade. Alex has proven and developed and impressive track record. It’s been encouraging to see him develop and rise through the ranks’.
West Way Nissan offer an in-house apprenticeship scheme which is delivered in partnership with Retail Motor Industry Training (Remit) and focuses on capturing and developing talent. We are an ‘Investor in People’ and ‘Employer of choice’ within the retail industry. West Way offer NVQ training in a range of courses across customer service, business admin, and Team Management, which helps create a ‘culture of excellence’ and forms a highly talented workforce.
We would like to congratulate Alex Pilling and wish him all the best with his future at West Way, and we can’t wait to hear who is going to be West Way’s next rising star.
