Nissan X-Trail Evolution Over The Years

June 6, 2014

The new Nissan X-Trail has been described as Winner of the What Car? Reader Award 2014 and it’s very easy to see why the X-Trail is so popular. Here at West Way we are all very excited about the new redesigned vehicle. However, the 4×4 has definitely developed and evolved over the years, making it the car that it is today.

The old model X-Trail was again a hot favourite when it came to deciding on what car can meet every need possible. With the extremely sophisticated control system you are given an abundance of features such as, integrated with cruise control, Bluetooth, automatic headlights, heated door mirrors, fully opening electric sun roof, dedicated MP3 and USB connectivity. The most advanced of these being the 360’ view camera assisting with parking so that you can park with maximum precision. The old model X-Trail also benefitted from the all 4×4-I mode which meant a lot more control and increased downhill and uphill support. With a 2.0 litre dCi high output engine producing 173 bhp and extremely good fuel economy, you will not be left disappointed. The vehicle also excelled in practicality with the rear seats folding down completely; you are left with more than 1700mm of space to use for whatever you please. All in all the old X-Trail was a brilliant car, and some of its aspects have been carried on through to the new 2014 model.
