Back In Pole Position – The New 2017 Micra

The new Nissan Micra 2017  Gen5 is about to make Nissan history! Brap Brap! (that’s what the kid’s say now right? Ok maybe that was so last year… erm let’s move on) So it’s a new year and we all make resolutions to get back in the gym and transform our body. Well Nissan have done the same with the new Micra and everyone is going crraa--zzz--yyy over it. (Honestly, they really are – and we’ve got the proof.) Everyone loves the new model, and you will too. I mean with a hot body like this who wouldn’t right? All the car review sites are driving themselves crazy over this revolutionary makeover even former F1 racer, Stefano Modena has jumped onto the bandwagon; We’ve pulled a few together to give you an insight into what others are saying about this bad boy…Don’t just take our word for it. Take a read for yourself.

    Ex-F1 racer, Stefano Modena –

The new supermini’s agile handling and secure driving feel is due in part to its Bridgestone tyres, which have been developed with the help of the ex-F1 racer, Stefano Modena. Stefano Modena competed in more than 80 Formula One Grands Prix, and in 1989 famously stood on the Monaco podium with legends Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. So what does a man who is comfortable at 300km/h drive after he has finished racing? Perhaps surprisingly, the answer is the all-new Nissan Micra. Stefano said: “Nissan has been very demanding of Bridgestone for this new Micra, which is a great thing because it means it had very clear goals for the dynamic performance of the car. We really worked very hard to fulfil its requirements, and I believe we have.”

    WhatCar? –

More than 40 cars will compete for the prestigious 2017 What Car? Car of the Year Award, with the winner set to be revealed on 11 January 2017. Yes, our daring, sleek and edgy Micra has been shortlisted, so it’s all a waiting game now. According to WhatCar “Nissan has pulled out all the stops to make this new one stylish, much more premium inside, jam-packed with interesting features and, purportedly, sportier to drive.”

    AutoExpress -

“This is an important car for Nissan – and Nissan knows it… With excellent refinement, an impressively smooth ride, sharp styling and lots of equipment on offer with even more scope for personalisation, it’s going to be a contender.” Says AutoExpress.
