Nissan really took centre stage at this year's Geneva Motor Show… The brand new Nissan LEAF, which was showcased for the first time, is said to have received more than 100 updates which were made following feedback received from current LEAF owners. The new model has an improved driving range of 123 miles, compared to the previous 109 and has reduced its aerodynamic drag figure by modifying the front grille.

The charger has also been moved from the back of the car to under the bonnet, meaning the boot now has a rather roomy 370 litre capacity. A further new feature is that an LED inspection light has been added to the charging port so that drivers can see what they are doing when charging their LEAF at night. The LEAF is also to adopt the Nissan 3-Tier trim line-up currently in use by other models in the range, with increase in specification from Visia through to Acenta and top of the range Tekna. The New Nissan Note also made waves with its sleek new design and advanced technology, incorporating the Around View Monitor System and Nissan Safety Shield System previously seen only in its larger counterparts in the range such as the Juke and Qashqai! Nissan's tagline 'Innovation that excites' truly defines the ever expanding and thrilling yet affordable high performance Nismo Motorsports range. Hot on the heels (or should we say wheels) of the Juke Nismo is the new 370Z Nismo. With its modified six-cylinder engine, the Nismo packs a punch with its re-worked chassis and increased power and torque. As a result the model is expected to be the fastest 370Z model to date and to top it off, the exhaust system has been revamped so it will sound every bit as good as it looks! With the new GT-R and Juke N-Tec coming soon, it seems 2013 is going to be an exciting year for Nissan! Exciting!
