Here at West Way, we’ve been too excited about everything that will be happening in 2014 that we’ve been ignoring the fact that 2013 was a pretty good year! From dealership awards to charity ventures, it’s safe to say that 2013 kept us on our toes. We’re going to take a look back at our favourite moments of 2013 so that we can remember just how much of a good year it was.
Let’s start with the most important thing, cars, cars and more cars! Last year saw the release of two new models at West Way, with the brand
new Micra and the latest Note! The two latest, updated additions to the Nissan family were introduced back in July, with exciting new features, stunning new designs and innovative technology. One of the most intriguing introductions to the new models was the Safety Shield Technology on the
new Note, which, thanks to features such as Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning, makes every day driving even safer. The new models proved very popular with our West Way Customers in the Preview Events, and this shows with the increasing number of Micras & Notes on our roads today! Not only did we see new Nissan models this year, we saw a brand new
West Way Website! Launched in September, our new all singing all dancing website brought a new design, an easier car search, a car comparison tool and the real-time online booking system, which made booking your service easier than it ever was before! Along with the innovative technology came eVision – our free video health check service. This means that, like never before, our technicians are able to record and send customers videos pointing out what work needed to be completed on their vehicle and customers can choose what work they want completed. Together, both our online service booking system and eVision technology make servicing your car at West Way even easier! We also enjoyed worked with a great deal of great charities last year, with Mahdlo Oldham and The Round Table Bewdley to name a few. Our collaboration with Mahdlo, saw the youngsters of Oldham get in touch with their creative sides and reach into their pencil cases to design the Juke wrap. We had tonnes of entries and the winner was finally announced as Bethany Graham, who was the lucky winner of an iPad and a trip to the Sunderland Nissan Plant. Bethany was also luckily enough to have her design materialised into an actual wrap for Mahdlo’s Juke!
As the nights started to draw in and we started to countdown to Christmas, we saw another charity collaboration, between our Stourbridge dealership and the Round Table Bewdley. West Way Stourbridge were kind enough to give the Round Tablers a Cabstar that was transformed into Santa’s sleigh! This collaboration raised £1,989 in total over two weeks and was donated to a variety of local charities. Although 2013 was a busy year for us, there’s no signs of us having a rest just yet! We’re only two weeks into 2014 and we have already had our fantastic January sale and we’re preparing ourselves for our exclusive preview evening for the
Next Generation Qashqai. What else will 2014 have in store for us?! We’ll just wait and see…
