Super-Sized
We’re told that the Jukes overall profile is longer by 75mm and sits with a 106mm longer (than 1st generation model) wheelbase, equaling more internal legroom. You are also going to get a large boot, the current model's boot size is 354-litres. This will increase to a whopping 422-litres of boot space. The tailgate will get wider for better access, as the rear brake lights are now attached to the rear tailgate.
The Power Is Changing
You may see sat in our West Way showrooms in 2020 a Nissan Juke that offers a hybrid or potential electric power plant. The only engine confirmed for the 2020 Juke is a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, producing 117hp. You have the option to pair this engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a quick-shift 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. With this set-up, you’ll see this Juke achieve a 0-60mph in 10-seconds and should give you an economical drive offering 45mpg. There is the talk of a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a possible petrol-electric plug-in hybrid engine. This set up would see 2-electric motors and a 1.6-litre engine providing 28-miles with all-electric range. But Nissan hasn’t confirmed this as of yet.
