Nissan has announced a new high specification, limited edition N-TEC to add to the all-electric LEAF range. This new N-TEC version will join Micra, Qashqai and X-Trail which were launched in January. Based on the N-Connecta grade, the e+ N-TEC features additional technology and styling enhancements including ProPILOT. However, this N-TEC version is limited to just 1,000 units of build.
The newly-developed 62kWh battery pack offers 55% more capacity and 25% improvement in energy density giving the LEAF e+ a significantly increased driving range of up to 239 miles (WLTP combined mode) on a single battery charge. The LEAF e+ N-TEC is positioned below the Tekna grade in the 62kWh battery line up, giving a brand new accessible price point for the larger LEAF battery.

The LEAF e+ N-TEC has an accessible on the road price of £32,795 (including the £3,500 low-emissions Government Grant). It is also available with a £500 deposit contribution and 4.99% APR as part of the Red Tag Event. This launch also coincides with 0% BIK tax from 6th April 2020. BIK charges will see zero-emission electric vehicle tax liability for company car drivers fall from 2% to 0% for the tax year 2020-21. Find out more about the changes in BIK tax.
