As the UK’s largest Nissan dealer we have extended our in-house apprenticeship scheme after a hugely successful first year.
We have 14 outlets across the country, and launched the scheme last year as part of a major investment in talent and drive to improve standards.
The first intake of apprentices have now completed their NVQ Level 2 in sales and customer service and are working towards their Level 3 qualifications.
A fresh intake of 14 new recruits have started their journey towards successful careers in the automotive retail industry – beginning with a course delivered in partnership with Retail Motor Industry Training (Remit).
Andy Buswell, HR Manager, said: “This training is part of the wider West Way plan to have a complete pathway for everyone within the company, and to give everyone the opportunity for learning.
“It shows our commitment to investing in the highly talented and dedicated workforce we have, and creates a culture of excellence. This can only serve to improve our business and, consequently, customer satisfaction.”
This year’s intake comprises of Rhys Summer and Calum Cracknell (Aldershot), Nathan Bradbury (Oldham), Aisha Smith (Stockport), Aysha Gibbons (Manchester), Mark Whittle (Manchester Business Centre), Sophie Harley (Coventry), Matthew Stobbart (Wolverhampton), Thomas Winebloom (Birmingham), William Horsley (Southampton), Brad Kudirka (Basingstoke), Timothy Stokes (Mill Hill) and James Dickson (Hanwell).
