West Way, the UK’s largest Nissan Dealer Group, today outlined exciting plans to become an ‘Investor in People’ and to establish itself as an ‘Employer of Choice’ within the retail industry. Since 1996 West Way has acquired a growing number of Nissan businesses, with a range of interesting backgrounds and now boasts 15 dealerships and over 500 staff with an annual turnover in excess of half a billion pounds. A major part of the exciting plans include the enhancement of the employee benefits package. Each employee will now receive extra holiday entitlement, get access to an improved pension provision and will eligible to partake in NVQ training from a range of courses across Customer Service, Business Admin and Team Management. It’s down to their hard work and determination that West Way continues to excel as the UK’s largest Nissan Dealer Group.” He added, “We carried out an extensive review of the employee benefits package to highlight where we could improve it. By introducing new benefits and improving the current package, we have enhanced the value of working for the West Way group.” The ‘Investor in People’ plans form part of the West Way 2020 project. A strategic project with an aim of continuously improving the West Way group across a host of areas.
