New Nissan Car Cover

Nissan’s European Roadside Assistance will be your saviour when you need it the most. If the unthinkable happens to you we have you covered. Every new Nissan car purchased at West Way Nissan comes with 3-years cover***. This is as standard and is there to help you. We make sure that all our new car drivers have peace of mind while on the road. You’ll be covered for eventualities such as a flat battery or engine issues. What Your Cover Includes

Your roadside assistance cover isn’t driver-based, it’s car-based. Meaning if someone else is driving your car, they are covered. As long as they have your permission to drive your new Nissan car. And can produce the relevant paperwork and driving licence. This isn’t a service that picks you and your vehicle up and tows you to the nearest garage. In fact, up to 80% of breakdown issues can be resolved at the roadside by one of the expert technicians. They are equipped with diagnostic equipment to help get you back on the road as quickly as possible. There will be times where the issue can’t be fixed at the side of the road. When this arises you will be offered a towing service. This normally occurs if your vehicle is immobilised or in an accident. Rest assured your vehicle won’t be just towed to any garage. You’ll be taken to your nearest home* Nissan dealer if it’s within 30-miles of you breaking down. If further you’ll be towed to your nearest Nissan dealer to begin the repairs.

In Addition

If for some reason your vehicle can’t be repaired on the side of the road or on the same day at the nearest Nissan dealer. And this is due to a mechanical or self-induced breakdown or accident. You’ll be entitled to the following services…

Replacement Vehicle

Nissan will provide you with a replacement car up to 3 working days**. Or once your vehicle repair is completed sooner.

Hotel Accommodation

If you are away from your home address and are in need of somewhere to stay while your car is being repaired. Nissan have you covered. Roadside Assist covers you for up to a 3-night stay in a B&B accommodation or 3-star hotel.

Public Transport

Having car issues but need to complete your journey? You and your passengers are entitled to free public transport. These following options are available to you, taxi up to 30-miles, train or ship 1st class. If you are over 625-miles from your home address you are entitled to an economy plane ticket. Don’t worry about having to get back to collect your car at your own expense. This isn’t an issue, your return journey covers the driver.

Recovery

Nissan prepare for every eventuality. If your vehicle is unable to be repaired or fixed within the 3 working day** time period due to a breakdown or accident, and has been towed to a Nissan dealer, your cover will make sure Nissan recovers the vehicle, driver, passengers and luggage to your local* Nissan dealer nearest to your home address.

Nissan Customer Promise

Because you own a Nissan vehicle, you want to make sure it’s serviced by highly qualified Nissan technicians. Nissan’s customer promise is for every time you bring your Nissan car to a West Way Nissan dealership for a service, you’ll continue to enjoy Nissan Roadside Assistance for a further year. This is included in your Nissan Fixed Price Service, even after your initial 3-years is up.

*Local refers to the dealership where you purchased your vehicle and/or have your vehicle serviced.

**A working day is defined as Monday – Friday inclusive, excluding bank holidays.

***Nissan LEAF not included. Roadside Assistance for LEAF is provided by AXA Insurance.
