COVID-19: A message from our Managing Director
West Way would like to thank our customers for their patience and support and our staff and suppliers for their hard work in dealing with the unprecedented challenges and uncertainty caused by the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We want to let you know that West Way will do everything it can to keep our customers mobile, especially our emergency services, critical workers and NHS staff who need continued reliable mobility.
We remain open to keep your vehicle road worthy at this critical time including MOT, servicing, worn tyre replacement, car sales and parts and will be taking the following extra precautions in light of the advice from the Government.
- Cleaning frequency in our sites has been increased throughout the day to ensure high standards of safety and store cleanliness are maintained
- We have increased the amount of hand sanitizer gel at our dealerships and asked our staff to follow the government guidelines with regards to hand washing
- We are focussed on limiting people interactions and so have banned hand shaking in our businesses and are actively encouraging people to stay at least 6 feet apart – a smile can go a long way.
- We have instructed any staff with flu-like symptoms to self-isolate and not attend the workplace in line with current Government guidelines
- We have extended our Collection & Delivery service for everyone, especially vulnerable customers who cannot attend the showroom
- We will be providing a personalised service with reduced contact including test drives from your home for anyone needing to replace their current vehicle.
- Vehicles will be wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes prior to returning
West Way’s priority is to continue to provide a high quality, clean, safe experience for all our customers and staff.
We’re working hard to keep our showrooms and workshops operational for as long as it is safe to do so by working closely with Nissan and following guidance provided by the Government, to ensure we collectively do everything possible to help customers in these challenging times.
We are determined to work together with our customers, neighbours, partners and staff to ensure everyone gets through the following weeks with as little disruption as possible.
West Way is part of the local communities in which we operate and if there is any support we can give to those trying to help others at this difficult time, please make contact, we will always do what we can to assist.
Yours sincerely,
Tony Lewis
