New Nissan X-Trail

Designed with family life in mind, the X-Trail is the ultimate 4x4 SUV packed with the newest technology and premium features making it truly perfect for you and your children. First starting out in 2001, it became an instant classic and today it's a popular next generation SUV! It fares well in all driving situations and with its practicality, it has a lot more to offer than other models in its class, making this an ideal SUV for the Nissan Motability scheme.

Exterior Features

This car's profile is exciting and certainly makes a head-turning impact when you're out driving on the road! This stunning design combines a muscular silhouette, bold front end and signature details all adding to its purposeful style. Why not opt for 19” alloy wheels which add a hint of style to your X-Trail and deliver handling.

The attractive LED Daytime Running Lights create a distinctive first impression and at the rear the LED headlights flow into the smoothly sculpted wings which add to this car's statement look. This model looks big and acts the part, but the new X-Trail isn’t quite as large as might expect. The exterior dimensions when out on the road are:

●        Length  4,640mm
●        Width    1,830mm
●        Height   1,715mm

Interior Features

Made with a premium design and high-quality materials, the X-Trail provides a luxurious and comfortable interior. Opt for the 7 seat model and you’ll get tonnes of space for more passengers and it comes with a wide range of seating combinations; so you can take the whole family along for an adventure.

This 4x4 comes with 50:50 split folding 3rd-row seats, allowing you to take extra passengers plus all their luggage. This is done by the seats folding flat, creating a spacious luggage area. There is also a Luggage Board System that’s practical and easy to use, with just one hand you can change the dividers and shelves  and adjust your X-Trail’s boot space to exactly how you want.

The Zero Gravity inspired seats have been created with inspiration from space exploration and the result of this is seats that keep you comfy, alert and reduce fatigue; even when embarking on the longest of journeys.

The X-Trail’s Panoramic Sunroof gives everyone inside an excellent uninterrupted view of the world both at night and daytime. In the day, it fills the cabin with natural light making it feel spacious and airy inside.

With space for loads up to 8ft long, this SUV gives you tonnes of space possibilities that you never knew you had! The rear doors swing out nearly 80º for better access, and the optional tailgate opens with a press of a button on the Intelligent Key or you can tap the switch located in the cabin.

With the Luggage Board System, you have an adjustable set of dividers and shelves with many in-boot configurations which you can easily adjust with one hand. In the boot, you can lower the floor for extra height or make a box which conceals your valuable items. Or why not give the boot a layered look and create 2 storage levels both within easy reach.

Technology & Safety Features

Inside, Nissan has included an abundance of technology and safety features which makes this model appeal so much to the family market. With the attractive colour touchscreen and Smartphone app integration, your new SUV will become a connected friend, as your social life and music is in the car with you.

With the Sat Nav system, you’ll stay right on track thanks to NissanConnect’s compatibility with location-based services, getting from A to B has never been easier. As well as this, your music joins you for the journey thanks to the USB port which is compatible with your MP3 player/smartphone. Just plug in your device or go cable free and connect up to the Bluetooth. NissanConnect also features a command centre so you can be on the move with the ability to serve up social media, music, navigation, weather, points of interest and much more.

The X-Trail has comfort at heart, with the Dual Zone Climate Control which allows the driver and passenger to set their own temperatures. In the front, are heated seats and you have heated and cooled cup holders so you can keep your drink on the go just the way you like it!

With a Start Push button, you're away in a breeze and you’ll have a bird’s eye view with the four cameras which gives a 360º view of the area around your X-Trail, with rear and kerbside views, selectable split-screen and close ups of the front. An excellent feature for parking is the Bump Stop, this SUV’s standard sensors alert you when they can sense an object up to 1.8m away, with the beeping increasing in speed when you get closer to the object. Self-parking is also an option with the Nissan X-Trail, thanks to Intelligent Park Assist. This extra feature steers your vehicle into the space for you safely, quickly and hassle free!

Nissan’s Safety Shield Technologies provide an extensive approach to safety, which is the fundamental engineering and development of every Nissan model. This include:

● Forward Emergency Braking - this reduces the impact of a collision by instantly activating the brakes if you approach the vehicle in front to close.

● Advanced Drive-Assist Display - A warning appears if a vehicle is detected in your blind spot.

● Lane Departure Warning - If you're straying from your lane this system will give you an audible and visual alert.

● Moving Object Detection - This is an extra pair of eyes that simply monitors movement at the back of the car giving you audible alerts that tell you to avoid manoeuvres that could potentially result in a collision.

● Advanced Drive-Assist Display - When you drive past a road sign, this feature will present the sign on the display so you don’t go over the speed limit.

● Driver Attention Alert System - If you're feeling tired or fatigue, this system judges your fatigue and concentration based on your driving, and alerts you when you need to take a break.

● Airbags - You’ll find these in the front, side and curtains, giving you all round protection in the case of emergency.

X-Trail 2.0dCi Tekna

We bought a Nissan X-Trail as my husband had always wanted one and we had owned our previous car, a

Ford Mondeo, for 9 years. We were looked after as soon as we arrived in the showroom at West Way Oxford, and after test driving the X-Trail, I was smitten. The car is very comfortable, especially for long journeys. The steering of the car is extremely good, which, along with the parking camera, makes reversing out of spaces that little bit easier (especially in multi-story car parks with not much room to manoeuvre!). It surprised me how easy it was to get in and out of the car, and how quiet the engine is. The car is very suitable for our needs – we have two springer spaniels and the boot space is ideal for them. The X-Trail allows us to take them (and all our luggage) on long journeys to visit relatives or go on holidays. We love the service that we receive from West Way Oxford, and they found us a beautiful car.

X-Trail 2.0dCi Tekna

I bought a Nissan X-Trail Tekna from West Way Stourbridge after being told by my friend how pleased she was

with her new Nissan and how friendly the staff were at the dealership. I previously owned a Freelander and was looking to change because I found it difficult to contact the dealership where I had bought it from. What initially attracted me to the X-Trail was how much space there was inside, including the very large boot! Having two Border Colliers, the space inside the car means that it suits my lifestyle perfectly as they are able to fit in with no bother. There’s nothing that I would change about my X-Trail, it is much more comfortable than my previous car, it is spacious and extremely easy to drive.

X-Trail Tekna 4WD

I recently brought my 5th X-Trail from West Way Oldham which has only been re-launched this July, I have always

been a fan of Nissans 4x4 heritage for over 10 years having owned 3 different generations of X-Trail’s over the years. I saw pictures of the new X-Trail on the Frankfurt motor show and I knew I had to have it! I love everything about my new X-Trail – it’s easily the most versatile kind in its class! I recently completed a 400 mile round trip and it was very comfortable experience from start to finish. The new X-Trail is the best version in so many ways from its dynamic and sculptured looks to its improved cabin style interior. The new X-Trail has many improved features from my previous model from a more responsive steering, improved fuel economy to under floor storage! The best feature is the Nissan Connect entertainment system it is incredibly intuitive with a 7” touch screen it’s really easy to connect to audio, navigation, hands free functions as well as many apps to choose from. I also really like the all-round safety features the new X-Trail has to offer from the parking cameras, to blind spot warnings and forward engineered braking to prevent any collision in an emergency. I am still learning and discovering a whole host of features my new X-Trail, as I’m still so used to the previous shortcuts from my old X-Trail that isn’t on this model. I am very pleased with my experience at Oldham, after being a customer for over 10 years the general manager Phil Behrens and Sales Executive Keith Wall have always been my first point of contact; they have always treated me professionally and assisted with any enquiries should I have any.

X-Trail 1.6dCi Tekna Xtronic

I have owned Nissan X-Trail's for the past 6 years, and this month have purchased my third – the brand

new X-trail. My last one was a second generation 2007 model, however the new X-Trail released earlier this year is packed with many more features including its revamped design, I could not resist. The new X-Trail is fantastic in comparison to my old one, much better fuel efficiency now gives me 45miles per gallon up from a previous best of 30. The new X-Trail is a pleasure to drive; I really appreciate its zero gravity seats for ultimate comfort improved noise isolation and better acceleration. My New Nissan X-Trail is perfect for my everyday lifestyle. The only thing I would change about the X-Trail is the fact that I have to remind myself to duck my head when getting into the car, which I guess is due to its sleek and stylish design. I purchased my X-Trail from West Way Oxford and am extremely happy with their service, of my 3rd New X-Trail.
