  • The New Nissan X-Trail will be available with Nissan’s innovative ePOWER powertrain.

    Unique to Nissan, ePOWER features a petrol engine that is used solely to charge a battery which powers an electric motor to drive the wheels. The result is superior fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions compared with a traditionally fuelled vehicle.

  • The forth generation X-Trail will also be available as a mild hybrid. This is where a vehicle will have both a petrol engine and a electric motor, however, mild hybrid's can not run on the electric motor alone. The electric only range will be shorter than a hybrid vehicle.
